Carol User | 9 Sep 2011, 13:39Wow what an experienceThis is my second visit in as many months, all I can tell you is, in the middle of the week I have found the staff very helpfull and friendly. The amazing feeling of being in very warm water, on a roof top overlooking Bath alone, is worth the cost of a two hour session. But then you have more to look forward to, the very hot steam pods, of which there is four and each one has a different aroma. When the power shower in the middle is working (must be on a timer) we rushed out to cool down under it. After that we then went down to the Minevera pool and relaxed again with the floats provided, bliss! It's better to take your own warmer fluffy robe, towels and slippers, and dry off as much as you can wrapping a towel around you before putting on your robe. Then if you want to eat, it's much more comfortable to be sat in a warm dry robe. Can thoroughly recommend the food, the roast veg tart was so hot I burnt my mouth! Not too sure why it's all gone wrong for some people, only thing I could find a bit disconcerting, was the wrist band on my first visit, kept loosening and I nearly lost it. So this time I asked the staff member who booked us in, to put it on for me, which he did and it was a lot tighter than I could get it, but it still came a bit loose, so just keep an eye on it. If I lived nearer I would definately be there once a month, lovely lovely, way to spend a couple of hours!
