room for improvement
Mixed reviews on our visit to the spa for a friends birthday. The Minerva bath and the rooftop pool were lovely very warm, relaxing and a fabulous view over Bath. However the corridors and layout connecting all the facilities were confusing and cold, we spent time rushing from area to area as we were cold in damp robes/slippers. We paid for towels/robes as an extra but after 2 hours the towels were soaked and on enquiry if we could change them we were told only if you have paid for a treatment. We sat in the restaurant which served lovely food although seemed clinical in setting, more like a hospital canteen! The steam room was very good although the foot spas were minus their plugs. Unfortunately there were no facilities for water to drink apart from a trickle fountain which considering the cost I felt was poor. Also the showers and changing facilities on different levels is a poor design.Overall I enjoyed my day but would not recommend the spa and will not return
