Food and some of the service did not match up to the facilities
The baths themselves were a great experience. We were less impressed however by both the quality and quantity of food in the retaurant. Food was dry and the potatoes gave the impression of having been cooked some time in advance. Was certainly the poorest meal I have eaten out in Bath, and by no means the cheapest. Was also less than impressed by the young man at reception who mistakenly thought I had given him a £10 note and not a £20 one. At first he was quite rude; when he discovered the mistake was his I had absolutely no apology - just my change thrust into my hand. What a shame hiis manner did not match up to that of the young ladies on duty when we arrived!
