What a wonderful day
I visited the Thermae Baths for the first time this week and it was the best spa experience I've ever had. Even though I just turned up at the door, no queuing, no fuss, the wristband explained clearly (and what a brilliant idea that is). The minerva bath was lovely, and I seemed to just float around in it. I particularly enjoyed the footbath in the steam rooms, and words almost fall me about the rooftop pool, with its bubble jets, and seats. The famed waters have done my skin no end of good and I was totally Zen-like by the time I left. Although I'd been concerned by previous stories on here about peoples' robes and slippers going walkies, I didn't experience any problems. It was an utterly fantastic day and I'm already planning to return :)

This is the largest of the thermal baths. The massage jet, whirlpool and 'lazy river' operate on a timed cycle.
