• Simon Jones | 9 Sep 2011, 10:55 Twlight Package As a treat for Christmas I booked a Twlight Package at the Thermae Bath Spa which was absolutely amazing.  We visited at the beginning of this week and it was a cold day and I have to say that it was fantastic being sat in the warm water in the open air roof top pool whilst being out in the cold.      This pool is the iconic image that you see from the spa and it definitely lives up to expectation, altough it was not a completely clear evening we still really enjoyed sitting there are is went from day to night.    There is plenty more to be seen in addition to this, the main pool downstairs was great and I loved just floating on the surface whilst the current slowly took me around the pool.    The steam rooms were enjoyable and don't miss the footbaths on this side of this room as they were very relaxing.    Overall it was a great experience and something I would certainly do again.    As we are not allowed to take pictures in the spa I have uploaded a couple of images from my trip to Bath.

An intimate open-air thermal bath with its own changing facilities, the Cross Bath is a separate building and provides an alternative to the more extensive spa facilities in the New Royal Bath. Where the Cross Bath now stands, the Celts revered their goddess Sul, in whose honour the Romans named their spa town, Aquae Sulis. The Cross Spring is now recognised as an official sacred site.
